A delightful double room that gets the afternoon sun, this is the only room we have that looks like a standard hotel bedroom so it’s the AA’s favourite! It has a generous built-in wardrobe with dressing table/desk area and drawers. Fitted side tables are either side of a charming bed with interior sprung mattress and iron headboard.

Internet access is available in two ways: 1. On our computer in the Gillies Restaurant. 2. On your own wireless computer via our router. The signal in the Snug Bar and the Restaurant is Excellent. The Signal in the Mills is good.

The en-suite is a bath with shower over. Bath sheets are warmed on a heated rail and there’s Radox foam bath and Gilchrist & Soames shampoo, soap, conditioner, and lotions. The room has TV & video (video collection on ground floor), radio/alarm clock, tea & coffee, safe, and hair dryer.

The room name is inspired by Brusher Mills, the local snake-catcher who died over 100 years ago. He used to sell snakes to London Zoo.

The New Forest is a beautiful part of Hampshire. The Cottage Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Brockenhurst is situated in the heart of the New Forest Village of Brockenhurst. Ponies and cattle can wander freely throught the village. Watch out for them in the village, ponies have been known to wander into Tescos.
